Overview
The 21st century sports car is based on Toyota FT-HS technology concept.
Toyota Hybrid borrows its engine from Lexus GS450H and connects it to a power-train taken from Crown Hybrid.

Engine Specs
The 2011 Supra is powered by a 3.5-L V6 engine that pumps out 400 hp and 375 pound-feet of torque. This power is sent to rear wheels through a continuously variable automatic transmission.
FT-HS has a see-through hood panel to highlight the front-mounted engine and a rear spoiler that runs up at higher speeds to improve the stability.
The base curb weight of the engine is around 3750 pounds and has a wheel base of 104.3 inches. Supra is 170.3 inches long, 73.2 inches wide and 50.8 inches high.
Pricing
Toyota has not yet revealed the base price of the new 2011-12 Supra, but it is expected to be about $70,000.
The old Supra models were available at the base price around $44,000. As the 2010 edition is using sophisticated hybrid-drive hardware description, it is priced quite higher.
